Weather:
Sunny conditions prevailed throughout the day today with light to moderate
but brisk west-northwest winds. Temperatures barely made it to the plus
side Celsius. 

 
   










Raptor Observations:
Most of the birds recorded were Red-tails with a smattering of other birds
and the seemingly daily 6-pack of Golden Eagles. Perhaps most noteworthy
was that not a single Rough-leg was tallied.

Non-raptor Observations:
Today was another big day for Tundra Swans with large and small groups
moving through all day long. You would guess that thousands must have moved
through the region on a day like today. Sandhill Cranes were also well
represented with groups of 40+, 30+ and one small group of four. Early
morning wanderings dug up a very late Scarlet Tanager.
