Official Counter: Todd Pepper
Observers: Jim McCoy
Visitors:
Jason from Leamington
Weather:
Moderately strong SW winds all morning from 14 - 27 km/hr, 0 - 4 degrees C,
sun attempted to pop out, but never made it.
Raptor Observations:
Slow day, mostly Red-tailed Hawks.
Non-raptor Observations:
All the regular marsh birds are still here, including the Pied-billed
Grebe, Belted Kingfisher and the usual assortment of dabbling ducks. Two
Great Blue Herons circling like raptors. Only a few passerines, 1 Robin, 2
Flickers, a few small flocks of Am. Goldfinch, 30 Tundra Swans and 6
Bonaparte's Gull - which I have not seen in a couple weeks at HBMO.
Predictions:
Weather the same as today, except slightly more sunny.
