Weather:
It was sunny and cloudless for much of the early part of the day with
clouds building into the area fairly early in the afternoon. Winds were
generally light varying from west to south-southwest. 

 
 






Raptor Observations:
It appears that our season is winding down as only a handful of birds were
recorded under fairly favorable conditions.

Non-raptor Observations:
Today saw the return of the Gannet although this time it was much more
cooperative, giving us several good views over the course of a half hour or
so as it worked the area between Sturgeon Bar and Celeron Island. It made
quite a few plunge dives during the time that we watched it but it wasn’t
clear whether it caught anything in any of these attempts.
