[Ontbirds]Sandhill Cranes -- Long Point, Wednesday, Dec 5th

We saw 100+ Sandhill Cranes at the west?shore of Port Rowan Bay. Very little open water still finds over 700 Tundra Swans in the bay just left of the harbour, with most resting on the ice.?A stop at Big Creek bridge produced Redheads, Buffleheads, Ruddys and Hooded Mergansers.

Directions: Follow Hwy 59 south and turn left at Hwy 42 into Port Rowan.

Directions to Big Creek bridge: Follow Hwy 59 south to the causeway.
