[Ontbirds]Ross's Goose - Chippawa - YES

Winter listers and others....the Ross's Goose found by Alan Wormington and Karl Overman et al last Saturday in Chippawa remains.  The bird was easily seen at 1350h this afternoon from the Chippawa Boat Launch parking lot off Main Street in Chippawa. The bird was observed feeding along the grassy edge of the north shore of the Welland River, and in the water along the river shoreline.  This parking lot is on the south shore of the river along Main Street directly across the street from the Church of God building.

Directions:
>From Toronto/Hamilton, take the QEW to the Lyons Creek exit and go south towards the River and into Chippawa.  Once past the marina, the street becomes Main Street and the boat launch parking area is 100 yards ahead on your left opposite the church.

>From Tim Hortons in Chippawa, turn right and cross the small bridge to the lights at Main Street.  Turn right and proceed west about 3/4 km to the boat launch parking lot on your right opposite the church.
