[Ontbirds]Dark morph Red-tailed Hawk in Mississauga

John Klymko just phoned to tell me that he had a dark or rufous morph
Red-tailed Hawk yesterday afternoon between 2 and 2:30 pm in Mississauga.
Due to lighting he couldn't say for sure it wasn't a rufous morph, but it
was proably a dark morph.

 

Directions:  Exit the QEW at Cawthra and go north to Dundas.  Turn east,
travel about 500m.  The bird was sitting atop an apartment building's
antenna on the north side of Dundas by Tomken
