Today, New Years Day, at approx 1 pm there were still at least 3 Pine Grosbeaks feeding in the crabapples on Concession St E. Visibility was poor but two females and one male were feeding about 100 ft north of Concession.
Also at the corner of Bragg Rd and Highway 2 was a very tame Merlin sitting 20 ft up in a tree on the east side of Bragg right at highway 2

Directions as per Rick Lauzons earlier post

Highway 401 exit 435 (Bennett Rd) is the quickest way from Toronto. North
to Hwy 2, east to Bragg Rd, and north on Bragg Rd to Concession St E.
Pine Grosbeaks on Concession St E.,
about 150 yards East of Bragg Rd (east of Bowmanville).
