[Ontbirds] CAROLINA WREN, 65 CEDAR WAXWINGS, 52 PINE GROSBEAKS, 13 RED POLLS, 23 AMERICAN GOLD FINCHES, 22 AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS by Newcastle

BBBBrrrrrrrrrrrr!  -21 degrees C.

The sky was awesome and the birds were brave.  A CAROLINA WREN by my kitchen
window.  The Niger feeders were filled with 13 RED POLLS & 23 AMERICAN GOLD
FINCHES and 35 JUNCOS were scattering themselves over the spillage of niger
seed on the ground in competition with 14 SQUIRRELS.

In my drive through the country I viewed 64 CEDAR WAXWINGS on the third
Concession, east of Lamb Rd on the north side, feeding on the Juniper and
Blue Spruce trees.

When I drove by the PINE GROSBEAKS there were at least 50 that lifted  off
when I arrived on the north side of Concession St. east of Bragg Rd.

Driving along the fourth Concession east of Regional Rd. 42 and west of
Highway 35/115 I sighted 12 HORNED LARKS, 1 COYOTE but no SNOWY OWL.

Directions:  Exit 440 to 590 Mill St. south and the same directions given to
Concession 4 west off highway 35/115 and from there take Regional Rd. 42
south to Concession St. west to just before Bragg Rd.
