Sparrow seekers at Erie Beach :
In spite of many pairs of eyes today, the Harris's Sparrow was not re-located to my knowledge.
I would be happy to be told otherwise.
Mother Nature bestowed a "night-long" rain on this area, and washed away what little snow we had.
It was expected that the flock of sparrows would leave the compost for nature's own food.
It is believed that the birds haven't gone far--good habitat is just next door to the compost pile.
A fresh supply of snow will no doubt bring the birds back to the smorgasbord of food !

I'll let you know  !!-------and please do the same !!

P.S.---the entrance road is now MUCK !!!-----  stay clear.
