1-Red Tail Hawk high in the tree being monitored by his 2 Crow Friends.
A Feeding frenzy of American Robins, at least 100.
Equally as many Starlings.
The sound of birds was more like the middle of Spring not the middle of winter. There were a slew of other birds in and around the trees, I spotted one White-breasted Nuthatch and several b.c.-chickadees. Heard a wood-pecker and the songs of another bird I could not identify but common to me on my summer hikes. I was not alone, surrounding me were at least 6-7 white-tailed deer all watching me very closely. They too were feeding beneath the berry trees. I will be posting these photos on my flickr account shortly.
Map of the observatory taken from the Richmond Hill Naturalist website:

Description of my hike:
I hiked thru the “south” field: take the trial out the parking lot walk towards the “hydro shack” and then head to the right. It will take you thru some small trees and open to a field that takes you directly toward Bayview and end before the large stand of Pines.
