Hello Ontbirders
Yesterday afternoon I observed a covey of 12 Gray Partridge along Maple
Grove road near the Bell Sensplex. They were feeding under on the open grass
of a few spruce trees both at the Bell Sensplex and at the Ottawa Hydro
Building parking lot.
Early in the afternoon observed 1 adult Lesser Black-backed Gull and 6
adult Ring-billed Gulls off Remic Rapids. The female Harlequin Duck was
still present Bate Island/Champlain Bridge. A mid morning visit to the
Eardley-Masham Road off Hwy. 148 near Luskville produced 1 adult Golden
Eagle and 6 adult Bald Eagle.
                                            good birding, Bruce

north "extension" of Island Park Drive, which can be accessed from the 417
