[Ontbirds]Hooded Mergansers, Newmarket

[The Bonners]

Walking along the Holland River in Newmarket yesterday in search of the
first red-winged blackbird, we came across a pair of hooded mergansers among
all the mallards.  They were in George Richardson Park (formerly Bayview
Park), just south of the old lock and north of Madsen's greenhouse.  No
red-wings there yet though.
