[Ontbirds]Brighton Constructed Wetland update

Good afternoon: Between 11:30 and 1:00pm today Rod and I made a visit to 
Brighton Constructed Wetland with the permission of the Brighton Public 
Works Department through Keith Lee.

Sightings are as follows: 1 Greater Yellowlegs,1 Lesser Yellowlegs, 2 White 
rumped Sandpipers. numerous Blue-Winged Teal, Green-Winged Teal, Northern 
Shovellers, Mute Swans as well as the mixed pair Trumpeter/Mute., Northern 
Roughwinged Swallow, three pair of Common Moorhens, Northern Harrier, a pair 
of Belted Kingfisher and a pair of Osprey (on their pole).  There are also 
Painted Turtles and Snapping Turtles as well as many songbirds.  No warblers 
were seen during our visit.

Directions:  The Constructed Wetland is located at the SE corner of
 Brighton.  From Hwy 401, take the Brighton exit (Hwy. 30)and follow
 it south into town.  Go south through the two traffic lights, over
 the railway tracks and follow the main road, now called Prince Edward
Street, south.  About 1 km south of the tracks, the main road begins
 to swing to the left and becomes County. Rd. 64.  As this long turn
ends, the constructed wetlands appear on the right side.
