[Ontbirds]Black Duck X Wood Duck- Hillman Marsh

Birders,

Tonight I observed an apparent female Black Duck X Wood Duck hybrid at the shorebird/waterfowl habitat at Hillman Marsh this evening april 29th.

this odd hybrid is in company with a male Black Duck. the bird is about the size of a black duck but has the shape of a woodduck. overall the bird is brown. If anyone is going to take photos  I'd love a couple.

the Willets left this evening, but then again all shorebirds leave for the night and come back in the late morning.
